Our Workshop

Nickels Garage & Co. is a fully-equipped MOT test centre and repair garage. We look after cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles of all makes and models — no specialities, no exclusions. Whether you need an MOT, a full service, a diagnostic scan, or a one-off repair, we’ll get it sorted quickly, properly, and at a fair price.

Our approach is simple: tell you what’s wrong, quote before we start, and only carry out work you’ve approved. You get a clear breakdown of labour and parts, and we’ll flag anything we spot that might need attention down the line so you can plan — we’ll never pressure you into work on the day. Our Approach

Honest pricing. MOTs are a flat £45. Our hourly labour rate is £60 + VAT. Everything else is quoted up front, in writing if you want.

All makes & models. From family hatchbacks to work vans, we work on them all. We use genuine or OE-equivalent parts and service to manufacturer specification, so your warranty stays intact.

Straight answers. If your MOT fails, we’ll tell you exactly what needs fixing and give you a free retest within 10 working days of the original test.
